About the Role
Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Senior Test Engineer with 10+ years of experience in testing, data acquisition (DAQ), and test fixture development. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in designing and executing testing procedures, developing test setups, and analyzing test data. Candidates from the valve industry will be given the highest priority. If suitable candidates are not available from the valve sector, candidates from the automobile, pumps, motors, and construction equipment industries may also be considered. Key Responsibilities Plan, develop, and execute testing procedures for mechanical products and equipment. Design, develop, and validate test fixtures and testing setups. Configure and operate Data Acquisition (DAQ) systems for test measurements and data collection. Analyze test data, prepare test reports, and identify performance issues. Troubleshoot testing equipment, fixtures, and measurement systems. Ensure testing activities comply with applicable quality standards, specifications, and safety requirements. Collaborate with design, manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to improve product performance and reliability. Support test setup validation, equipment calibration, and continuous improvement initiatives. Utilize LabVIEW programming for test automation, data acquisition, and measurement applications, where applicable. Mandatory Skills & Experience Overall Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience. Testing: Strong hands-on experience in product testing and test execution. Data Acquisition (DAQ): Experience with DAQ systems, measurement instruments, and test data analysis. Test Fixture: Experience in test fixture design, development, setup, and validation. Secondary Skills Knowledge of LabVIEW programming for test automation and data acquisition. Industry Preference Candidates will be prioritized in the following order: Valve industry – Highest priority Pumps and motors Automobile / automotive Construction equipment Candidates from other relevant mechanical engineering industries may be considered if suitable profiles are not available from the preferred sectors. Educational Qualification B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
