About the Role
Design, develop and maintain scalable full-stack web applications using React.js and Node.js. Build responsive and reusable frontend components using JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3. Manage application state using Redux, Context API and React Hooks. Develop and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js. Integrate internal and third-party APIs and services. Design, query and optimise databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL and MongoDB. Build, deploy and manage cloud-based applications using Microsoft Azure. Work with Azure services including Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Azure SQL and Azure Key Vault. Implement secure authentication and authorisation using JWT, OAuth 2.0 and Azure Active Directory (Microsoft Entra ID). Build and maintain CI/CD workflows using Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins and Git. Troubleshoot application issues and improve application performance, reliability and security. Participate in code reviews and contribute to development standards and engineering best practices. Collaborate with engineering, product and other cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
